The ENTRY Instruction Process

ENTRY Realty School provides: Classroom Instruction, Pre- and Post-Real Estate License Courses, as well as Continuing Education Classes. ENTRY Instructors combine lectures with student discussion and debate for a dynamic class environment where everyone participates and benefits from shared knowledge and experience.
ENTRY Realty School provides the instruction and materials necessary to pass the Virginia Real Estate Salesperson's and Broker License Exams. Instructors design and update ENTRY’s Continuing Education and Post-Licensure courses to meet the ever-changing needs and demands of today’s real estate professionals.
ENTRY Realty School enrollment implies a bilateral contract between its Instructors and each student: ENTRY Instructors agree to teach and the student agrees to learn. Each has an active role in the process leading to a student’s successful state exam result. ENTRY provides qualified Instructors who bring their personal and professional experience to the training and education of ENTRY students. ENTRY Instructors are expert in course material and supply students with a well-defined real estate training program. ENTRY students agree to read text materials and to actively participate in class discussions. Students needing extra guidance may obtain weekday assistance by phone or e-mail.

ENTRY Realty School reinforces course instruction through multiple-choice exams where the “correct” answer partially verifies that the question is understood. "Incorrect" alternate answers, however, may also be important, and students may be asked to amplify and discuss their reasons for selecting their answer. This approach encourages students to think beyond the immediate question and explore their knowledge of related topics. Frequent quizzes, combined with debate, reinforce the learning process and focus awareness of the type of “trick wording” used in the State Licensing Exam.

ENTRY Realty School complies with the state requirements for satisfactory completion of a school-devised, end-of-course (final) exam. This exam consists of 120 questions, of which 80 are related to national real estate, and 40 pertain to state law. A passing grade is 84 correct answers—equivalent to 70%. The final exam may be repeated as many times as may be required—although each final exam will be different—assuring that only those students who are ready to do so will sit for the state test.
